  • Dig steps in corner of the bank

  • Wash down sandpit deck

If you are able to help us out then please send an email to sue@ridgway.school.nz .

Trade Me helper needed

We are looking for a Trade Me aficionado to sell some furniture on behalf of the school. If Trade Me is your gift and you are able to help us please email principal@ridgway.school.nz .

Teacher Only Day Term 3 - Monday 5 August

As part of the recently settled Primary Teachers' Collective Agreement the government has provided all primary schools with eight teacher only days to be held over the next three years. We are taking our first teacher only day early on in Term 3 in order to carry out some urgent curriculum work. Enjoy Childcare will be running a programme at school on this day.

Break-in at school - outdoor sheds

As some as you may be aware, we had a break in at school on Monday night. The culprits broke into our outdoor locked areas which include our PE shed, the shelter shed and the garden shed. They used bolt cutters and cut straight through the padlocks. Nothing was taken.

Parent Portal

Next term we'll be sending out links to the parent portal so parents are able to view attendance and assessment results, as well as check contact details. Look out for this early next term.

STEM Week - advance warning!

At the start of Term 4 (14 - 18 October) we are going to run a STEM Week. Last year's STEM week was a great success with lots of experts in our community coming in to engage the children in all things STEM. If you are involved in any STEM areas and would be willing to come and share your knowledge with us during this week please email sarah@ridgway.school.nz.

Have a great break. See you all back at school next term, hopefully feeling refreshed and revitalised after the holidays.

Noho oro mai.
