Supporting Children Who Are Experiencing Anxiety

Pauline McCallum ran a great session on Tuesday night.  The hand out was attached to the email and she is putting together a set of slides to share with the community.  These will be shared once we have them.

Masks at school

We are no longer requiring staff and students to wear masks. This is based on the excellent ventilation in our new building, CO2 monitors, lower rates of COVID, dropping hospital admissions as well as the fact we are heading into summer. Some of our staff will, however, choose to continue to wear masks. Children are, of course, welcome to continue wearing them.  At this stage, we ask that parents continue to wear masks when visiting school until we move to Green. If hospital admissions rise or we notice an increase in sickness, we will review this.

Fundraising lunches

We had delicious fried rice made by Neo’s Mum yesterday.  Next week we are having hot dogs (vegetarian option available).  You can order this through https://www.lunchonline.co.nz/

Yummy Stickers

Next week is the last week to have your Yummy Stickers in. If you have been collecting them, please send them into school with your child to hand in at the office.
