Great effort at the Cross Country

Congratulations to all those who ran the cross country this week!  33 tamariki competed in the Southern Zones cross country competition and 13 qualified for the next step which is the Inter Zone competition next Tuesday.  Special mention to Tui!  All of Tui who competed in the Southern Zones competition are through to the Inter Zone competition. In preparation for the cross country Tui took part in a rigorous training programme under the direction of Pam Clarke!  Go Pam and go children!

Isolation periods for COVID

There is, unsurprisingly, confusion around isolation times with COVID.  If you are a household contact you need to isolate for 7 days. If you have COVID you need to isolate for at least 7 days while you recover. Day 0 is the day your symptoms started or when you tested positive, whichever came first. Check out the Ministry of Health website for more information.

Reminder about the early finish on Tuesday 14 June

Please fill out the form about the early finish for the NZEI meeting.  Children can be collected from 12.45pm.  Children who can't be picked up early will be supervised by non-union staff members and teacher's aides.  If the weather is fine children will play outside and if it is wet they will be able to watch a movie.  If your child needs supervision at school for this afternoon, please complete the form for each child.  Ridgway Early Finish Tuesday 14 June 2022
